Neogen Knit Mask Sheet Masks: Like A Comfy T-Shirt for Your Face

I’ve said it many times before and I’ll say it again. I LOVE sheet masking. It’s relaxing, comforting, soothing and good for my skin. So when I heard of a new kind of sheet mask, Neogen’s knit masks, I knew I had to try them out.
These aren’t your ordinary sheet masks. They aren’t your typical cellulose or hydro-gel masks. These feel like actual knit and feel like your favorite comfy T-shirt against your skin albeit drenched in 2 bottles of super skin loving essence.
The Neogen Pink Cactus Liftmax Knit Mask, $6 each, is your anti-gravity BFF. The concentrated essence contains prickly pear cactus known for its hydration and antioxidant properties, pink algae, cactus oils, camellia and Vitamin C to even out, brighten and smooth skin. This mask will really firm up the skin and prevent loss of elasticity when used as part of a weekly skin care routine.
Neogen White Truffle Hydramax Knit Mask, $6 each, gives you intense hydration. It’s perfect for skin that feels depleted or unbalanced. It softens, smooths and adds radiance for a gorgeous glow. Like the Liftmax Mask it contains 2 bottles (60 mg) of a rich essence formulated with white truffle for balancing skin, propolis to soothe, avocado oil and ceramides to smooth and brighten for an even skin tone.
These masks are super easy to apply and are virtually drip free because the knit material really holds onto the essence. This means that while wearing these masks your skin will get a huge dose of the concentrated essence and the masks won’t dry out quickly. I really like how these masks treat the neck area as well as the face. The recommended time for wearing these masks is 20 minutes but because of them being less prone to getting dry you could easily up this time to 30-35 minutes and give your face a little extra TLC.
Cleanse your skin, tone and then apply the mask to your face making sure to smooth it out and adjust it so it fits all areas comfortably. Follow directions for using the pull tab to get the best fit. Then relax and let the knit mask do all the work for 20-35 minutes. These Knit Masks will conform to your face nicely but stay put best when you are lying down or reclining in a chair. After removal, lightly pat remaining essence onto your face, neck and chest area. Follow with a serum, moisturizer or skin care of your choice.
Which mask is best for which skin types? Both masks will work on all skin types. If preventing and/or helping treat loss of elasticity and wrinkles is what you want the Pink Cactus Liftmax is a good choice. The White Truffle Hydramax will address concerns of hydration, balancing out moisture/sebum and brightening. I have oily skin and I didn’t have any irritation, i.e. breakouts or pore clogging, from either of these masks. Neogen Knit Masks get a sold Glam rating from me.
