Meet your 365 skin's best friend: the Neogen Day Light Sunscreen

If you ask any of my friends they will all agree: I'm known as the crazy sunscreen-lady. The friend who always looks for the spot the sun doesn't hit and the one that's even gonna refuse to stay at a picnic celebration because she has no hat and there's no shade to be under (real-life story). I could even say I consider myself a SPF prophet, my life goal being turning everyone into my dedicated and faithful Sunscreen-Everyday religion (you're welcome to join anytime).
Thing is I was not like this in the past. 6 years ago my dermatologist prescribed this super expensive 3-steps acne treatment - that by the way never worked - and sunscreen on a daily basis in order to get rid of breakouts and irritation. At that point of my life I had the typical misconceptions everyone has about sunscreen: it's so sticky and uncomfortable to use, it leaves a white cast and it just makes my skin feel weird. That's not a total lie though; there is sunscreens out there that fall into that match those qualities, the problem is I was not wearing the right ones.
Time went by and I started reading about K-beauty and it caught my attention how everyone highlighted sunscreen as an essential no matter if it's hot, cold, raining, storming or snowing. At some point I read this article called: "looking for the best anti-aging: sunscreen is your answer". But.. how could it be? Isn't sunscreen supposed to protect my skin from the sun? How is that related to wrinkles and aging? Oh my. Just thinking about how naive I was about sun damage makes me feel pity about younger Carolina.
Here's the deal in a few, simple words: UVA and UVB rays were born ready to kill collagen and elastin from your skin. Once this happens wrinkles, sunspots, saggy skin and fine lines start taking over. Sounds awful, right? That's why sunscreen is a 365-days-a-year commitment.
Now, what happens when you're acne prone and can't find a good sunscreen that's not gonna make you breakout? You go for this one. The Neogen Dermatology Day Light protection Sunscreen not only is very hydrating (and SPF50) and easy to spread but it's not gonna clog your pores or irritate your skin. What about white cast? There's not. What about stickiness? There's not. This is the kind of sunscreen I usually recommend as a starter for someone just joining the sunscreen-everyday wagon: a sunscreen that feels more like a light moisturizer, that absorbs fast and smells like a fresh citrusy Fall afternoon (some people say it smells light oranges but I prefer my poetic description).
Rose (for hydration), Raspberry Extracts (to control redness) make this formula very nourishing and soothing, so if dry skin is your concern, this sunscreen will give you that extra boost you're looking for, while if you're more on the oily or sensitive side it will help not only keep your skin protected but also calm.
Wanna test it out before buying it so you can see -and feel - it by yourself? Then hit your closest Sephora and test it out! I swear you'll agree with me and hopefully join my sunscreen cult.
