Give the Gift of good skin! Neogen's Christmas guide under $25
By Carolina Malis
Ho, ho, hooooow about giving the gift of nice skin for Christmas? (Please don't mind my terrible joke). With Santa's visit around the corner you surely have someone in your list you haven’t gotten something for yet, am I right? And I don’t know about you but I hate gifting people something random they’re either gonna throw out, give to another person or not be able to fit into their lives. But with New Year's resolutions taking over, what's best than to gift someone a really nice skincare product they’re gonna be able to use as a way to improve their routine or add a little pampering to their everyday relationship with their skin? Now that's what I call starting the year off right.
Now, if we talk about this year's favorites, my list could go on and on and on, but here’s 4 items I personally loved trying this past few months that I would truly appreciate finding under the tree next Monday (plus they’re all under $25!)
Real Fresh Foam Cleanser Green Tea
This whole line of cleansing foams is actually my favorite thing at the moment. The green tea one particularly being the creditor of the Number 1 spot. If you don’t know much about the other person’s skin type, then you can't go wrong with this one as it's made to fit any and every type of skin. It’s not-at-all stripping, and its unique formula containing fermented green tea extract not only brightens skin but also helps keeping it hydrated all day long while removing excess impurities that have been accumulating on your skin, AKA, will prevent blackheads and whiteheads to form!
Real Fresh Cleansing Stick Green Tea
You have a friend/SO/mom/dad/enemie/whoever who travels a lot? Then this is a godsend for them. This travel-friendly stick cleanser is formulated with 13 - yep, THIRTEEN - different natural oils that easily breakdown makeup and remove dead skin cells, plus natural green tea leaves for gentle and fast exfoliation. Some like to use it as a 1-step cleanser as it is powerful enough to cleanse your skin completely and remove all impurities, but in my case I still prefer to complement it with a light water based cleanser, especially at night. A fun fact? This is such a popular and proven-to-work item that it won 2017’s Teen Acne Awards!
Real Flower Cleansing Water - Rose
Now things got serious. This is not just a really good cleansing water but my favorite one out of all the cleansing waters I've tried this year. Period. Think of it as a soothing, calming and relaxing bath of roses but for your face. While I would never relay on a cleansing water to replace my two-step cleansing routine at night, this is the one and only cleansing water I could ever trust as a 1-step Cleansing routine for morning time.
Best part? You can actually see real rose petals floating at the bottom of the bottle! And it's just a thing of opening the lid for the delicious roses scent to take over your whole body.
For a friend with sensitive skin, this is the perfect gift to survive winter and face spring with glowy, healthy and calm skin.
Pink Cactus Liftmax Knit mask
The very first time I tried this mask I knew it was the beginning of a lifelong relationship. While it can be a little too heavy for summertime, it's just the perfect, super hydrating mask everyone needs to fight the dry winter weather. Consider this mask a cozy and protective sweater for your skin, and whoever you gift this one to is not only getting a 60-minutes pampering session but also extreme hydration that lasts for days.
The mask comes soaked into 60 miligramos of concentrated essence formulated with prickly pear cactus and pink algae, both ready to deliver antioxidants and help your skin get stronger, plus Camelia and snow lotus flower to help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
