NEO | VIEW<BR>Cranberry Real Fresh Foam Cleanser<BR>Review By Diana Siuta
After a full year of wanting to try the NEOGEN Cranberry Real Fresh Foam Cleanser I finally ordered it! I first heard about this cleanser through Morgan on Youtube, also known as the Beauty Breakdown. She is a Korean American beauty guru who makes videos about Korean skincare. She is an incredible resource for people who are interested in Korean skincare so if you don’t know a lot about Korean skincare, it’s worth giving her videos a look!
I just received this product in the mail so this blog post is going to be more of a first impression instead of a review. I was first turned on to this product because it has real cranberries in it. It’s unique and different from any other skincare product I’ve tried. Korean skincare companies are known for their innovative products, and I truly believe some of the best skincare products out there are Korean!
I tend to get most of my Korean skincare products from Amazon and Mercari, but now I have a new place to add to my roster! I purchased this product online from SokoGlam for $19. Nineteen dollars is more than I usually spend on a cleanser, but like I mentioned earlier, I’ve been eyeing this cleanser for a while now!
There are three other cleansers in the Real Foam Fresh Cleanser line, including a Green Tea, Blueberry, and Cereal one. What I like about this cleanser is the fact that the main ingredient is cranberry fruit water and that the nutrient rich extracts come from real fruit.
What’s so cool about the cranberry cleanser is that it has such powerful antioxidants from the fermented cranberries at the bottom of the bottle. Charlotte Cho, founder of SokoGlam and licensed esthetician, explains in her blog post, that fermented skincare makes ingredients extra potent for our skin! So, fermented skincare products=more yummy vitamins for the skin. It’s a win-win!
Double cleansing is the act of using an oil based cleanser to remove makeup, sunscreen, and dirt and then following up with a water-based cleanser to actually cleanse the skin. This is a super effective way to cleanse the skin and make sure all the grime from the day gets off! I’ll be incorporating this NEOGEN cranberry cleanser into the second part of my double cleansing routine.
This light and airy foam feels so wonderful on the skin. Not only does it feel moisturizing, but it has a slight fragrance that’s pleasant, not overpowering. This foam cleanser feels unlike any others I’ve tried. Think less foamy, more creamy. One pump of this is enough for the whole face and neck so I’m sure this will last me a solid few months (maybe 2-3?) before I have to repurchase another one. And maybe I’m reaching here but my skin did look noticeably brighter after my first use. I guess I won’t know for sure until I use this product a bit more, but so far so good!
