Neogen Real Ferment Micro Serum, $38, is a gel texture serum that contains 61% fermented natural ingredients. Panthenol, a powerful humectant, draws moisture into skin and holds it in for all day hydration and comfort. Hydrolyzed collagen gives skin suppleness and elasticity. 

The fermented ingredients is where the magic is. 22% yeast ferment filtrate, 18% saccharomyces ferment filtrate (a byproduct of yeast fermentation) and 6% fermented rice filtrate strengthens the skin’s natural moisture barrier, brightens and firms. 12% white birch extract provides antioxidant care. Other ingredients include niacinamide to further brighten while green tea leaf extract and Centella asiatica provide soothing, healing to prevent and heal irritation and inflammation. 

- The gel like texture is light in feel and fast absorbing but big on lasting hydration.

I love skin care with fermented ingredients. This serum made my skin feel super hydrated without any greasy feel or causing excess oiliness. The ingredients are gentle and suitable for all skin types.

I like it for keeping my skin bright, smooth and balancing oil production. It’s never too soon to start anti-aging care and fermented skin care ingredients are an excellent choice. Often I find on warm days that this serum is all I need after my morning cleansing and toning. My skin stays balanced and comfortable all day. This serum can be applied in 2-3 layers depending on how much hydration and skin brightening you need. It won’t 

No matter what your skin care routine is, this serum will fit right in. Use it morning and/or night after cleansing and toning and before moisturizer. If you are wanting to achieve hydrated, dewy, plump and bouncy skin, AKA “honey skin”, I know this product is one of the best ways to start.
