Get Pore-fect skin in minutes with the Pore Refine Line! 

Pores, pores, pores. What a weird and complicated relationship we have with them. Since magazines seem to enjoy making us believe pore-less skin is something that happens real life (SMH...), reality is short and clear: we all have them, we all want them gone.

But since we can’t get rid of them (oh, how much easier life would be if we could) the skincare and beauty experts of the world have developed formulas that help our skin look smoother by keeping our pores unclogged, calm and happy.

 

I’ve been in a constant war with my very visible pores since I can remember. Pore Refine Toner

 

I’m obsessed with toners and you know it. I have many, I apply layers and layers of it and I’m aaaaalways trying new formulas. That being said I can testify this one is not like any other toner I’ve tried before. Let’s start by saying even when it’s made to get rid of dead skin cells and impurities trapped deep down, tighten our pores and get rid of excess sebum, my skin didn’t look dry or uncomfortably matte afterwards, which is always a fear when trying pore-focused, because let’s face it many of them leave your skin looking dull in exchange of your pores looking smaller, but with this toner my skin looks smooth and pore-less without having to sacrifice hydration or dewyness.

 

Now, talking ingredients, this treasure contains Centella Asiatica (AKA one of my absolute favorite ingredients to calm down my super sensitive skin), Aloe extract and Rice Extract, all put together to instantly reduce excess oil while purifying our pores.

While it can be used for all skin types, I would say oily and acne-prone skin types would get the most benefits out of it

 

 

Pore Refine Serum

 

For a long time in my life (this is waaay before I got into skincare) I was afraid of serums. My acne-prone skin was reacting to anything and everything I was trying on and for some reason I decided to blame serums for it so I just stopped using them.

 

After a few months I realized the problem was on my cleansing routine and once I changed that my skin started clearing up, but serum were still not part of my routine as I was just not used to them. That changed a few years ago when I got into K-beauty and discovered thousands of amazing formulas ready to make my skin shine bright like a diamond. I’m still very picky about the serums I add to my permanent routine: they have to be simple, not too heavy, hydrating and contain gentle ingredients; well, well, well, that’s exactly why this serum made it into my cabinet.

Let’s start by talking about how lightweight and extremely easy to absorb it is. Even when its purpose is to make your skin look less oily and smoother, it’s not drying AT ALL, which makes it a total winner.

 

Besides acne, the past few months I’ve been fighting post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (as if I didn’t have enough on my skincare plate already), which in a nutshell, makes my skin look red all the time.
